Final Design for Electronic Design 2 - Respect

Topic

My topic was about the lack of respect that people give each other. It really bothers me that no one wants to show respect but there initial reaction is to expect it. I hope that with this design people will be more aware of the lack of respect that is in the school. I hope that when they realize it they can make a change on there own. I hope that when the audience looks at my piece they see the man with his hands down, a sign of frustration and disrespect, and the kid with his down, a sign of cockiness and disrespect. With this they can fully realize that they have in influence on other people.

Creativity

The whole point of my design was to use my own creative style. My creative style was mostly to build shapes, and with these shapes they would relay a message. My project shows a message that people can interpret and maybe follow. The whole goal is to show how cold kids are when they are talking to adults, but also how hot adults get when they talk to kids. Hopefully they can change the way they act towards each other. I used mostly colorful shapes that represent mood, usually the blue would represent some of the more cold, sad feelings, and the more eccentric colors, being the reds, oranges and yellows. Along with positioning the words to accurately describe the feeling of the piece.

Design

The focal point is suppose to be the kids head, I wanted you to see his emotion and how it effects the rest of the piece.
We should start with him then move down to the words, the intricate like work should drive your attention over the words and down towards the hands. the hands lead you off the page which allows you to rome back into the piece where you please. Specially the design works, there is an image that blocks the foreground and open space to balance the background. The variety of color is another way to transfer the viewer around the design.

Three Designs

These designs are made for the three quick design projects
1. Was a representation of shape and form. I used a dab of color also to express my picture more.
2. The second was a line form and color. There was a similarity through balance with the forms that was created using the lines. I made the image using a blend with some hand drawn elements.
3. The last one was a message of depth and size. The man in this picture is a giant walking through the clouds. I used a bunch of images that I manipulated to work with the others. To add more of a realistic feel I added the shadow at the bottom to show depth.

SENEGAL

The theme for my T-shirt was the phrase "we are all in the same canoe". I have developed a design that incorporates this motto, then expand on it to show the full waters and canoe of Senegal.
I researched the history of senegal and found the phrase. The front and back are both the waters of Senegal that show boaters.

THE TITLE IS BIG BOOK OF MIS STANDING UNDER

I used mostly the same colors. Tried to stay within the blue orange spectrum. I tried to use shapes to get your mind guessing what the answer to what i was saying was. Positive space was mostly outline of shapes while the negative would be used for words and that such.

Blues Works

Blues Works
Electronic design composed of hand made imagery.
This design was made to mimic a modern blue print idea, that I gave a little spin on. I used the hand made gears and set them up on the page in Photoshop. Afterward whited them out and set them in front of a blue design. Then there was little touches made with the pen pad adding a hand drawing feeling to the peice.

Animation

The big idea was to show morphing using Photoshop. I did this by first morphing my face from younger to older. After I expressed time with changing background. The whole piece was meant to show age how time can wither away. I used tween a lot in my piece it was the most common method of showing smooth transition. I made the discovery of how to change only certain slides.

I used typography to move your eye down the page by reading what i wrote.
I started with an animation idea, scraped it; moved to the background of this idea, found that interesting and advanced on it. Then I used it with all the other images in the background, along with the text.
I made the discovery of channels once again, and use of color.
I struggled a little with mushing the images together in a clear fashion.

                                                      FULL DESIGN FINISHED
                                                                        SIDE VIEW
CLOSE UP VIEW OF THE WAVE

THIS DESIGN WAS A CHALLENGE IN CREATING BOTH THE BACK AND FRONT OF THE DESIGN.
